Rose
Rose is a dicotyledonous herbaceous plant of the genus Rosa belonging to the family Rosaceae. There are about 150 species of roses in the world. Although several species and varieties of roses brought from abroad are cultivated, a local rose of Bangladesh (Rosa involucrata) grows in the swamps of some areas of Mymensingh, Sylhet and Chittagong. Rose is the queen of flowers. Rose flowers are incomparable in fragrance or beauty. But the rose not only gives beauty. Rose petals are used in various ways in cosmetics. The practice of drying and powdering rose petals and mixing them with various beauty ingredients is very old. However, even today, dry rose petal powder is used as an important ingredient in natural makeup during busy times.
Soak a few rose petals in raw milk to increase skin radiance. After half an hour, grind these leaves and mix 1 teaspoon of honey with it. Apply this mixture all over the face and wait for 10 minutes. Then wash your face with lukewarm water. It will increase the brightness of the skin and make the skin soft and smooth. Rosehip also helps in removing wrinkles. Finely chop a few rose petals. Mix lemon juice if the skin is oily, orange juice if the skin is dry and cucumber juice if the skin is mixed. Then take this mixture on a cotton ball and apply it on the skin daily. Wrinkles will be removed, the brightness of the skin will also increase.
Rose works as a natural sunscreen. Rose petals and a mixture of rose petals are also very beneficial for those with sunburned skin. Vitamin-C in rose petals protects the skin from the harmful effects of the sun. Apply rose water on the skin before going out. It will act as a natural sunblock. To remove sunburned skin, strain a handful of rose petals in a cup of boiling water after half an hour. Use daily on sunburned skin. The skin will gradually regain its natural radiance.
